Specifically, the promoters of this commercial project, which sells handicrafts, souvenirs and typical cuisine of the municipality, have benefited from the grant of 10,000 euros of aid financed 80% by the ERDF and 20% by the Session Lorca through the Urban Initiative Uptown Lorca.

A business for sale and installation of parquet at San Fernando, a bar on the street Huercal Overa and a local ceramic crafts on Calle Selgas are other new stores to be opened on the basis of the aid.

Indeed, close to this street was opened a few days ago a brewery that has also benefited from this line of support, which this time has provided support to 16 business projects, which at 18 entrepreneurs and traders added benefit in the first call for € 50,000.

The purpose of these grants is the economic regeneration and encouraging entrepreneurship of small and medium enterprises in these areas of the city.

In the commission that the distribution of aid was decided on which were represented CECLOR, the Chamber of Commerce, the Guadalentin Embark partnership, UGT and CCOO trade unions, along with four technicians and Council of Economics and responsible Initiative Urban Lorca.

As contemplated the rules of the competition, were assessed as preferred "commercial, tourist, cultural, educational, social, craft and related to the urban environment and new technology activities, while a larger volume of investment is rewarded and generating employment involving the project, especially for unemployed people ".

The projects that have been awarded the grant must be executed in three months since it is accepted, except in cases where the rehabilitation and upgrading of the local affection for the activity, which is 6 months is required.
