The writers Alfredo Gómez and Luis Leante star in a new session of "Encounters with author" for World Book Day (17/04/2015)

The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, announced that as part of the activities for World Book Day will be making two new sessions "Encounters with author".

Like the previous times, the activity is organized by the network of public libraries, this time in collaboration with the Editorial SM and Editorial Edebé.

Francisco Montiel said that "the first meeting, which will take place on April 20, is the author Alfredo Gómez Cerdá and will be held with about 200 primary schoolchildren from different Lorca centers. Alfredo Gómez Cerdá was born in Madrid in 1951. He graduated in philology.

He is the author of a work rich and varied, both in themes and genres, which has earned countless awards and has worked in various media.

Luis Leante born in Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia) in 1963. He graduated in Classics and for twenty years was a school teacher.

This novella is a rural drama unfolding in the Spanish Civil War, with the theme of the black market as a backdrop, located in Caravaca de la Cruz.

He has also made inroads into the young adult novel.

Despite winning awards fifty story, has just published two books of short stories.

Currently teaches at the School of Cinema City of Light in Alicante.

He has published novels for children and adults.

He has written screenplays and some of his stories have been adapted to the big screen.
