The Councillor for Employment and Local Development of the City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra has reported that the Governing Council of the CARM has approved investment in our city of 600,000 euros to continue the development of Lorca + Employment Plan, a performance that raises an emergency plan to stimulate the productive fabric of our city through employment generation.
This new investment represents a phase of the Special Employment Plan for Lorca after the earthquakes, the Autonomous Region launched in the days following the earthquake allowing the recruitment of almost five hundred unemployed Lorca and that in exchange for Central Executive, the Government of Spain joined with programs like the four specific training for women and support the extension of the incubator of the turret, also complemented by other actions co-financed by European funds.
Ibarra has stressed that "with this new development, we are talking about specifically help people who need it most, specifying even in the groups that have lower employment figures".
The programs to be put in place thanks to the commitment of the CARM are:
1) Program "Promoting employment" (contracts for work and service) will aim to improve the employability of 42 unemployed, and the execution of works and services of general and social interest.
It is intended for unemployed people between 30 and 60 years old.
Contracts made in this program will have a maximum of six months and the day shall be thirty hours per week, corresponding to 75% of the workday.
Selection will be made by filing with the SEF of the respective offering activity, requesting four candidates per seat.
Expected monthly wages ranging between 1,700 and 1,588 euros.
2) Program "Improving employability" (Contracts in practice): the aim is to improve the employability of 41 young unemployed, facilitating obtaining appropriate professional practice at the level of education or training cursados.
The monthly remuneration in this case is between 1,600 and 1,000 euros.
Selection will be made by filing with the SEF of the respective offering activity, fulfilling the requirements to be hired through the contract method in practice (be licensed or college graduate, engineer, architect, university diploma, technical engineer or technical senior technical architect, technical or formal training, specific training, being equivalent to the previous titles Technical Assistant (FP1) and Specialist Technician (FP2), or be in possession of other qualifications officially recognized as equivalent to the above or have the professional certificate).
Contracts made in this program will have a maximum duration of six months, with the part-time work.
His remuneration is fixed in the collective agreement for a worker holding the same or an equivalent job, but may be less than 60% of salary.
The above amounts may not be in no case less than SMI, reduced according to the time actually worked).
Lali Ibarra explained that the works or services will be aimed at carrying out repair works of general interest in social and civic centers, physician offices, local care and service to the citizen, sporting venues, roads and street furniture, as well as other infrastructure.
It will also carry out other tasks linked to the performance of services of social interest in citizen service agencies, such as management of administrative and historical documentation of the municipal archives and processing advice and families affected by the earthquakes of 2011.
The mayor pointed out that "the effort of the three administrations is allowing Lorca have better employment figures that the local, regional and national media, which already are still good, but our commitment is to continue working in this line while there a family with unemployed members. "
