The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar has reported that the full City Council has realized this morning at its regular meeting for the month of April the final approval of the Special Plan for Interior Reform apple PEPRI 37 between Calle Selgas , Galdo, Paradores and Palm Uceta for the construction of the new courthouse, promoted and drafted by the City of Lorca.
Likewise, lift the suspension imposed with the agreement of initial approval of the licensing division of land, construction or demolition in the area affected by the Special Internal Reform Plan.
The mayor explained that the objective of this PERI, is to qualify the block 37 from the Internal Reform Plan between the streets cited as General Public System equipment for construction of the Palace of Justice in order to enable the implementation of a supramunicipal equipment in the Historic City Campus Lorca.
Lorca Mayor stressed that this project is an important step for which we are fighting for years.
With this approval a significant advance confirming the interest from the city council with professional groups of lawyers, prosecutors and judges have had for the courthouse to stay in the historical center, giving it more life and movement is based .
Francisco Jodar said that in this way we are laying the foundation of a new city model, more modern, better infrastructure and services, ultimately, a new Lorca, better equipped, more comfortable and accessible to all citizens and vias of renewed and more secure communications, where also the comfort of all workers in the town justice premium.
