New formula to unemployment

The shuttle Solidarity Employment and Entrepreneurship is a new concept in social intervention to unemployment that is based on cooperation and mutual assistance in finding employment, designed by the architect Jose Maria Perez, known as Peridis- president Santa Maria la Real Foundation.

In the Region of Murcia they were launched last year following an agreement between the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia (SEF) and Santa María la Real Foundation, with the collaboration and financing of Telefonica Foundation.

The methodology shuttles employment is based on the 'coaching', so that a central coach develops the role of leader and facilitator of the group.

The ultimate goal is to improve the employability from a perspective that puts the unemployed in an active, shared and united position on the great challenges posed by the current situation.

Teams consist of 20 unemployed people who reinforce their competencies and skills in active job search to gain access to the labor market.

Its members are guided and directed by a coordinator who will help them establish itself as a cohesive group and work together to strengthen their skills, generate collective knowledge and work together towards a common goal: finding employment, either on their own or others.
