The PSOE de Lorca acknowledged the defeat but improved its results compared to 2011 (25/05/2015)

The PSOE's candidate for mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has assessed the election results of the municipal elections of 2015 in Lorca.

Results that, in the words of Matthew, "given as legitimate winner of the Popular Party Francisco Jodar and reflect a remarkable rise in support to the Spanish Socialist Workers Party in Lorca, a project started just five months ago."

The social responsibility has stressed that "Lorca have spoken, the people of Lorca have wanted that, despite having lost more than 6,600 votes and, thus, about 15 percentage points of support, the Popular Party of Lorca has resulted in the party's voted and, therefore, the fair winner in these elections. "

Regarding the assessment of the results achieved by his party, Mateos highlights "have registered a rise of more than 1100 votes compared to the results four years ago, an increase of 5 percentage points, a sign that an important part of the Lorca and Lorca have recognized the deep regeneration we are doing within our party and, therefore, in developing the project, from the PSOE, we want to the town of Lorca in the coming years. "

Mateos said that "without doubt, is the foundation stone of a path that will build, constructively, purposeful, together, for the benefit always of Lorca and Lorca".

Finally, Mateos has highlighted the "great and exemplary behavior democratic society Lorca has shown during the day today."

In this sense, Mateos noted that "my team and I will meet to assess these results and analyze, among other things, the high number of invalid votes recorded in these municipal elections."
