The Councillor for Social Services City of Lorca, Fatima Minguez, has reported that the Consistory Lorca has signed an agreement with the Autonomous Region of Murcia, through the Instituto Murciano Social Action, for a subsidy for the maintenance of the Center Early Care Lorca "Fina Navarro Lopez".
Minguez Fatima explained that the agreement is to regulate the obligations and conditions for granting a registered grant to the City of Lorca for maintaining Early Childhood Center, with a total amount of € 281,482.09, taking over the Community Independent of € 179,398.00 and the city of Lorca € 102,084.09.
The mayor of Social Services emphasized that the main objective of the early intervention programs is that children with developmental disorders or at risk of suffering received, following a model that considers the bio-psycho-social aspects, everything that from the preventive and welfare aspect can enhance their capacity for development and welfare, facilitating their integration into the family and social environment and personal autonomy.
Minguez has indicated that the Early Childhood Center "Fina Navarro López" Children under six are addressed with therapeutic, temporary or permanent needs arising from limitations, developmental disorders or at risk of suffering as well as to families of children served, receiving the information, guidance, training, support and, where appropriate, the necessary intervention for adequate family and social approach to the situation of children.
The Councillor for Social Services explained that, in addition, at the center perform prevention, detection and diagnosis, therapeutic intervention programs which may include functional, socio-affective and family motor and sensory stimulation cognitive, motor, speech therapy and hearing, etc.
They also provide counseling to families and social environment, as well as coordination with other centers or services for the development of its functions.
