The Socialist Party calls for the realization of road improvements on some major roads in the municipality (21/08/2015)

Councilman Municipal Socialist Group, David Romera, claimed the execution of several works to improve road safety in two major roads in the municipality.

It is building a roundabout at the council of Ramonete, as it considers that the government team should require the Autonomous Community building a roundabout at the junction of the RM-332, the general linking the towns of Aguilas and Mazarrón, with the RM-D21, which from this point goes to Puntas de Calnegre, both regional ownership;

at the same crossing a local road also pours bound Morata.

At this time, there is a semirotonda of split type, with priority given to vehicles on the main road.

This causes the crossing is dangerous and more complex for circulation if it were a complete roundabout;

this transformation and became a few years ago in the rotunda of San Antonio following a fatal accident.

Full roundabouts are safer than the games, since all vehicles entering them have the same priority and vehicles, before reaching them, should slow down;

further reduce waiting times for drivers and do not allow left turns, which are those that generate the most dangerous accidents.

At this time, the speed of vehicles which run on that stretch of the RM-332 is very high, crossing a densely populated area of town.

On the other hand, it should also be fixed immediately called Camino de La Malvaloca, in the deputation of watering places, municipally owned, which runs between the road and the road Campo Lopez Eagles (RM-621).

This road is the main transverse axis of this part of town and is in many places in an unfortunate situation despite being busy by neighbors and workers.

There are ample cloths which has broken pavement and large potholes have appeared;

Also, the road is crossed by several watercourses, which are saved by gullies that are flooded by water when it rains, hindering traffic.

All this creates inconvenience to local residents and workers who have to run along the road every day.

The area has many first occupancy dwellings, farms and livestock facilities and major companies handling and export of agricultural products.
