The Blue Museum of Holy Week, MASS, will host the exhibition "The veil, tradition and culture", which will be inaugurated on Thursday 22 October at 19.30.
The show was presented by the President of Paso Blue, José María Miñarro, President of the Blue Step Foundation, Andres Espinosa, Director of MASS, Joaquín Bastida and Commissioner of the exhibition, Matilde Dolores Gimeno.
"The veil, tradition and culture" will be hosting the second sample Temporary Exhibition Hall of the Mass, after the "Watercolors" exhibition of Miguel García Peñarrubia exhibited last September.
Miñarro stressed that "thanks to these initiatives got MASS make a dynamic and constantly changing museum. In addition, through this exhibition we start celebrating the 50th anniversary of the participation of women with the classic Spanish mantilla on Friday procession Dolores, which will commemorate in 2016 ".
This exhibition, which will be visited until November 15 at the same time opening MASS is a unique national sample.
It includes not only mantillas, but combs, medals of the Virgin of Sorrows or fans also exposed.
It offers a journey through the history of the blanket with particular emphasis on the processions, but also exploring the use of this piece in other events like bullfighting or the holidays.

With "The veil, tradition and culture" MASS steps forward in its goal of providing a dynamic programming that complements the permanent museum display of their three exhibition floors.
So, temporary exhibitions allow the visitor to delve other elements that come together in the biblical processions and in the history of Paso Blue.
