The War Theatre hosts this week 7 musical representations about Jungle Book 'Mowgli's Adventure' for 3,000 people (27/10/2015)

The Councillor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Augustine Llamas, has reported that from today until Friday afternoon the War Theatre will host seven performances of the musical about Jungle Book 'The Adventure of Mowgli', an entirely Murcia production which companies and artists in the city of Lorca have a very important role.

Llamas has stated that "this morning two daily functions, also to be held tomorrow and Friday in the mornings addressed over 2,500 students of Lorca and Shire start. Also on Thursday at 19:00 there will be a session for the general public so they can enjoy Lorca those who want to enjoy this show in what is possibly the last time is represented in the City of the Sun ".

The mayor explained that "with this program of actions over 3,000 people in Lorca can enjoy this magnificent musical theater in which values ​​are most important and which has already been seen by 12,000 spectators in 14 performances in different parts of country, as Jaén, Albacete, Murcia, Alhama de Murcia, Pulpí, Puerto Lumbreras, Baeza and Eagles, having foreseen the continuity of their national tour in other cities like Roquetas de Mar, Murcia, Cartagena, Archena, Azuqueca de Henares (Guadalajara) and (Zaragoza) to mark the official opening of the Municipal Auditorium ".

This show is inspired by the magnificent work of Rudyard Kipling's "The Book of the Wild," a musical for the whole family that moves from the first second to the last "Mowgli's adventure".

The characters in this musical draw us into the jungle to tell by comparing the society, the family values, learning, social relationships, the value of the individual and his effort in conjunction with the group as well as respect for the environment and love for nature.
