The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, has announced that the Municipal Library Pilar Barnes organizes a poetic evening Flamenca, to be held on Thursday December 10 from 20 am at the Royal Plaza.
Admission will be free until all places.
Montiel said that "this interesting day we unite two historic arts like poetry and music, particularly flamenco, to offer such a rich and unique experience. Flamenco has been historically linked to the literature, as it has been linked to musicality and rhythm. Combining both cultural events will allow us to offer an evening full of lyricism and charm will be the closure of the literary year and the Reading Clubs programmed by the Library ".
The start of the evening will be dedicated to flamenco, with farruca, Malaga, bambera clubs and canteens, all songs of great beauty that are difficult to hear today.
Later a poetry reading will be held by local authors with accompaniment of flamenco guitar.
The evening will end with the adaptation of poems by local authors to flamenco styles, Cordoba soleá, soleá Grande de Triana, Tientos and Bulerías.
The musical performance will be given by singer Paco Serrano Cordoba twice semifinalist Festival de Cante Flamenco Sun City and has participated in events such as the Flemish Murcia, Lo Ferro or city of Cordoba.
The guitarist will be Jose Ruiz, who was part of flamenco Antonio Piñana for 10 years and has been official flamenco guitarist in Spring festivals The Almagros or San Fernando de Henares, is to touch.

Due to the celebration of this show, consultation service and loan Pilar Barnes Library will be closed from 18 pm.
