Municipal officers have been arrested in the last year 33 people by the use of forged documents, thanks to the constant training of specialized units of the City, which perform surveillance throughout the municipality.
The City Council Public Safety of the City of Lorca, Belén Pérez, has reported that agents of Units Prevention and Operational Response of Lorca Local Police have arrested four people for alleged theft and forgery of public documents, while which they intervened three tourism vehicles, as a result of two separate operations carried out within their regular preventive and operational throughout the town performances.
Perez stated that "the first intervention was the result of an investigation which resulted in the location of an underground car repair shop located in Lorca vehicles deputation of Torrecilla".
After an inspection of that workshop was located inside a passenger vehicle reported stolen and another chassis number had been fraudulently manipulated, apparently with the intention to hide its origin.
For this reason we proceeded to the arrest of the two people who were in charge of the workshop for the alleged crimes of theft and falsification of public documents, which were made available to Civil Guard, which continues with the proceedings and the provision court of those involved.
As has been shown, one of the detainees has an extensive criminal record for similar facts.
The mayor explained that "in the second action officers located within the town of Lorca and two cars controlled vehicles with Italian license plates, whose drivers showed very marked signs of nervousness to show documentation bearing".
In this case, the agents, after a minunciosa inspection of the documents produced by those drivers found that in both cases, mandatory insurance contributed were forged of high quality documents, why they proceeded to arrest for an alleged crime of forgery of public documents, after checking with the specialized Spanish and Italian authorities in this matter the utter falsity of those documents.
With these actions now totaling 33 people arrested in the last year by the local police in Lorca as a result of using forged documents.
In this case, detainees and vehicles operated along with forged documents were made available to the National Police of Lorca, which continues with the proceedings and the bringing to justice of those involved.
Belen Perez stressed that "these important arrests, complex for the possible falsification of such documents, specialization and constant preventive and operational work carried out by the Local Police Lorca through the units is confirmed in that organized and through monitoring devices established in the entire municipality, and their coordination with the rest of the Security Forces. "
