The Electoral Area has provisionally suspended an event organized by the PP government team in the city of Lorca, which could infringe Article 50 of the Organic Law on General Elections.

In that notice, the PP government team sought to spread projects related to the historic area of ​​Lorca subsidized by the Government of Spain and financed by ERDF.
As reminds Unidad Popular-Izquierda Unida in its complaint, that public presentation contravenes paragraphs 2 and 3 of Article 50 of the LOREG by that "since the announcement of the elections and until the holding of the same is forbidden any organized event or financed, directly or indirectly, by public authorities containing references to the accomplishments or achievements. "
To Unidad Popular-Izquierda Unida event, borne by all Lorca, he had a purely electoral order, through which the PP sought to circumvent the law and violate the principles of objectivity and transparency of the electoral process and electoral equality actors.
