Lorca recorded a further rise in unemployment to a hundred people (04/02/2016)

Registered unemployment data that occurred yesterday announced throughout the country by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security show a further rise in unemployment in the town of Lorca of nearly a hundred more unemployed.

Specifically this January there are 99 more than last month unemployed, which is, in the Councilman IU-V in the city of Lorca, Pedro Sosa, 99 families in Lorca who are going to have bad opinion and personal dramas 99 family against which none of the three administrations: national, regional and local (all governed by the PP) does absolutely nothing.

Pedro Sosa maintains that the Councillor for Employment in Lorca, Eulalia Ibarra, should come to the fore and give appropriate explanations for this rise in unemployment.

It is not ethical, nor politically acceptable that the Councillor for Employment only convene press conferences when data registered unemployment down in our town.

Sosa warns that the real unemployment rate is still higher than the 6269 people listed as unemployed in Lorca SEF offices of our city on January 31, because the actual data is offered by the Labour Force Survey (EPA) it is always higher, since not all unemployed are registered in public offices.

Fewer and fewer incentives to be, since there are very high percentages of unemployed who receive no benefit, and those offices are also increasingly the channel needed to find employment.

Moreover Pedro Sosa wants the Councillor for the use of low social security number, contracting and quality thereof and specific data on high.

Only then can you properly assess the employment situation in Lorca, as it is not surprising that the registered unemployment may be decreasing while the number of workers covered by social security is diminishing.

In any case, Councilman IU-V even more important than the unemployment data are the active employment policies to be put in place to correct this, policies that currently, according to Sosa, are nonexistent in Lorca and on which the Councillor for Employment should also give explanations.
