The Governing Council authorized the execution of a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and Water and the Association of Breeders of Pure Breeds of the Region of Murcia, in training, research and technology transfer for genetic improvement herd of horses in the facilities of the Integrated Agricultural Training and Experience (CIFE), Lorca.
Through this agreement, the Association of Breeders of Pure Breed stallions and mares bring their livestock, will assume the costs of transporting the horses from the farm to CIFE Lorca, as well as the cost of food, safe and sanitary treatment of horses, among others.
Also provide and disseminate to all farmers of the Association the information on training activities and research activities and technology transfer on artificial insemination of horses on the premises of CIFE of Lorca.
The agreement will extend its term until December 2010 and may be extended for two successive years by mutual agreement between the parties.
