Initial approval of the Partial Plan and Programme of Action of Sector 16-A of the General Plan of Lorca (14/04/2008)

The mayor of the City Planning Lorca, Francisco Garcia has provided this morning at a press conference, the agreements reached at the Town Planning Board, held on Tuesday April 8, among which are the following:

1 .- Initial approval of the Partial Plan and Programme of Action of Sector 16-A of the General Plan of Lorca .-

The Management Council agreed to the referral for initial approval by the full Plan and Action Plan Part of Sector 16-A of the General Plan of Lorca.

This is an area of 212,492 m2.

The result of the management of this Plan will be transferred to the City Part of 17,414 m2 of open space and 34,828 m2 of public facilities, creating 1,562 parking spaces also.

The sector includes the construction of a road structuring of 1.6 km in length and also provides construction, parallel to the general road system of a bike lane, of 2'250 km long that will connect neighborhoods La Viña San Lazaro and San Jose, aim is to encourage the use of bicycles as alternative transportation, continuing the line of work has already begun on earlier work and consolidating the goal of providing the city with new roads elements and appropriate means to safely facilitate urban mobility through these vehicles.

Is planned up to 156,239 m2 floor area and construction of a maximum of 958 dwellings, of which 30% will be housing.

The estimated cost for the actual implementation of development works amounting to € 10,289,715.

2 .- authorization license for the construction of 38 new homes in Lorca .-

3 .- Approval of the construction license for construction of 33 ships diaphanous in the Third Industrial Estate Extension Saprelorca .-

4 .- Support for renewable energy .-

The Board of Management has tried several cases which have in common the focus on clean energy, to renewable energy.

So we have proceeded to grant building permits 10 photovoltaic solar power plants of which 5 are promoted by the commercial Dona Ines SOLAR SL, with a capacity to produce 480 kW in Diputación de Doña Inés, on ground 46.
