69 workers will be recruited through two new programs of the Department of Employment (27/08/2008)

Specifically, these programs will be the "Hiring temporary employment of unemployed workers and the public" and "rural development initiatives."

A total of 570,415 euros '96 will go to these new initiatives, with 69 workers to find employment.

Thanks to the program of "temporary employment of unemployed workers and public employment, two social workers will be hired and an administrative assistant for the service of" Assessment and Classification of Social Aid. "

Similarly, there will also works: "Improvement of Infrastructure in the streets Fuenllana and Camacho del Barrio de San Cristóbal", included in the Comprehensive Plan Barrios Altos (PIBAL) and painting in the same area for which will be contracted 6 officers, 6 pawns and 2 painters.

On the other hand, the "Rural Development Initiatives, which will aim to alleviate agricultural unemployment, develop activities for maintaining green areas in the town of Lorca.

This activity will hire 52 unemployed agricultural workers in two periods of three months each.

These two programs have been financed by the Regional Employment Service and Training with 476,328 euros '68, while the contribution of the Municipality of Lorca '28 amounts to 94,087 euros.
