Rosa Medina, Councilmember Celebrations of the City of Lorca, presented the program of the festival in honor of Santa Maria la Real de las Huertas, with Luis Gonzalez Navarro, President of the Association of Residents of the Virgen de las Huertas, and Nieves Pérez Munuera, Chairperson of Songs and Dances Virgen de las Huertas.
The Fair Girl, in its 2008 edition will be held from 2 to 8 September.
On Tuesday, day 2 will be an exhibition of paintings and pie contest and Remigio.
On Wednesday, the contest will brisca, whereas at 22 am in Sage King Square project a movie theater in the summer, also will be held on Thursday August 4 at the same time and in the same place.
On Friday 5, at 21 hours, the Councillor of Social Services, Laly Ibarra, made the opening speech of the holidays.
Two hours later, at 23 hours will be held on Young Evening Concert, with performances by groups Ephemeris Error and The Shame.
Saturday's programming begins at 10 with the indoor soccer championship and 14.30 hours the women of the association made a meal of coexistence.
That same day, 19 hours, the Neighborhood Association, in collaboration with the Imjude will hold the Walk-Run Sports.
At 21 hours all visitors can participate in the dance competition VI "Patron of Lorca" and the orchestra will perform 24 hours Alcatraz.
On the morning of Sunday 7 September, the sport will take center stage, celebrated the traditional cycle-walking and sporting activities, at 9 and 11, respectively.
In the afternoon, from 18.30, there will be activities for children, with storytelling and animation games in the Plaza del Rey Sabio.
At 22 hours, the Virgen de las Huertas will be honored with the Holy Mass and wreath, for then at 21.30, held the Serenade to the Virgen de las Huertas, with a performance by the Banda Municipal de Lorca and Pipe and Drum Group "Blessed Fray Pedro Soler."
That same day, at 22 o'clock in the Rambla de los Patos contest will occur crumbs, ending the day with a performance by singer Manu Tenorio, at 23 am in Plaza del Rey Sabio.
On Monday 8, big day of celebrations, Masses in honor of the Virgen de las Huertas begin at 6 am, while at 9 am the parade will be held and Diana Flores.

Juan Antonio Reig Pla, the Pope will celebrate Mass, to be attended by the city authorities.
At 19 hours, the procession will be held, as usual, will depart from the Sanctuary of the Virgen de las Huertas and tour the main streets of the neighborhood, and 21.30 hours there will be a tribute to the entity Cajamurcia, for their cooperation in the development of parties.
The Fair Girl come to one of their hot spots with the nineteenth edition of the International Folklore Festival Virgen de las Huertas, from 22 hours and organized by the Grupo de Coros y Danzas Virgen de las Huertas and with the participation of various groups of character International from Venezuela, Russia, Argentina and Chile.
Finally, the parties were close to 24 hours with a monumental fireworks.
