15 textile waste containers extend the power of collection of Lorca (24/09/2008)

The City of Lorca and the National Abraham Project have agreed to launch a program of selective collection of used clothing, footwear and toys.

The agreement aims to reduce the volume of urban textile waste that is thrown in landfills and social work with the program that the National Association Abraham Project conducted in the Region of Murcia, for which fifteen initially installed collection bins clothes in the town of Lorca.

Each of these containers have a capacity of 2 cubic meters and a size authorized for the deposit of the type of waste that is intended, with a mouth load to 1.45 meters and a total height of 2 meters.
