The Local Government of the City of Lorca today approved an investment of € 68,683.53 which will serve to renew the equipment of the various libraries included within the municipal network.
The Spokesman of the government team, Lali Ibarra has reported that "from the Department of Education we are betting on the promotion of libraries, both from a quantitative corner, looking to increase the number of users, from a qualitative point of view , improving infrastructure and increasing the convenience for those users.
In this regard it is noteworthy that they will be several libraries that are going to benefit from this investment the City Council.
In fact, in the Board of Governors of Lorca have approved a total of 3 motions relating to the acquisition of equipment.
One of them provides for the investment of EUR 51,516.81 to benefit the center of La Hoya, Ramos and Marchena Zarcilla. "
Ibarra stated that "the second of motions to that effect discussed at the Local Government Committee today relates to the investment of 5422.53 euros for the acquisition of new equipment for the Fund María Fernández Luna children's library.
The third motion relating to the improvement of equipment for libraries relates to the acquisition of seats for the activity room of the municipal library Pilar Barnes, furniture that will allow the development of new activities at this center.
In this case we are talking about an investment of 11,745 euros. "
The City Council allocated more than € 98,000 to bring light to the sites of Cardenas and PRADICAN
The Spokesman of the government team, Lali Ibarra, said that the work relating to rural electrification in the places of Cardenas and PRADICAN have been awarded today by the Board of Governors for a total amount of 98,178.03 euros.
Ibarra explained that "this investment will serve to bring electricity to areas that today did not have that service.
This project will directly benefit primary residence 4 houses and 7 others second.

The Consistory awarded Guirao Road paving will be completed in 3 months
Local Government Board has approved the provisional award of the paving of the road Guirao, in Puri, whose project was approved on 5 September.

The period of execution of the works is three months from the day following the signing of the minutes of layout verification. "
