The City invested over 100,000 euros in improving the asphalt of different ways in both the urban and in rural districts (25/10/2008)

Councilman Works and Services of the Municipality of Lorca, Angel Mecca, reported that the city council is doing during this time a series of investments to improve streets and roads in different places in our municipality.

Councilman Works has stated that "this coming Monday October 27 we will proceed with the resurfacing of Alameda Rafael Mendez.

This is a project that will improve the pavement condition of the said road, and we want to fix the existing gap in the road caused the appearance of puddles in the rain.

The opinion of the municipal officers has advised us to raise the grade of that road as a solution to the current situation. "

Mecca also anticipated that on Monday they will start work on resurfacing and improvement of the firm in several streets in the hamlet of Las Terreras.

The financial investment of the City Council for this work and action in Alameda Rafael Mendez amounts to a total amount of 30,000 euros.
