The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and the Director General of Trade and Handicraft of the Autonomous Community, Julio José Lorenzo, visited this morning with the Councillor of Commerce, Francisco Montiel, the replacements made in the exhibition 'Loving, Foundry Art ', which is displayed at the Regional Centre Craft Lorca since mid-September and that due to great public success you're having, the Directorate General of Trade and Handicrafts has decided to extend until the end of November.
The exhibition includes a wide range of works that are part of the extensive and varied production of the bronze-smith craft firm Fundirmetal Loving, renowned nationally for its great diversity of products, ranging from sculptures to open spaces, street furniture, modeling art, to bells and bell towers.
Due to the success you're having, the exhibition has been remodeled by replacing several parts with new ones and adding new ones.
Its founder, Amando López Gullón, has the status of Master Craftsman and his career as a centennial company (founded in 1810), as well as numerous awards throughout his professional history, makes his work is increasingly valued.
Many localities have Amando Fundirmetal works, specializing in sculpture, such as Cartagena and Murcia Calasparra.
The company has diversified its production in recent times not only dedicated to large format, but also makes plaques and custom corporate gifts, trophies for a variety of events throughout the entire country.
The sample was exposed in parallel in Cartagena Craft Centre, from next week and will stay until January, showcasing some of the works that have already been exposed in Lorca, as well as new ones.
The first mayor of Lorca stressed "the importance of supporting the crafts of the region and reiterated the municipal support to this sector, reinforcing the great efforts being made by the Autonomous Region in this field."
