2800 schoolchildren participating colleges Lorca in 200 workshops organized by the Consistory consumption (27/11/2008)

In this new action are participating in some 33 schools throughout the town about 2,800 primary school and Children's modules in the unit centers, including both the town and villages.

The 200 workshops being offered in November and December, are subsidized by the Department of Consumer Affairs of the Autonomous Community and consist of a lecture of 55 minutes, divided into three modules: household accidents, accidents in the street and accidents at school.

The objectives of the "I warn you" are to provide students with the participating study centers all information concerning the prevention of child accidents in the home, school and public roads and working sessions to establish the most dynamic and attractive as possible in order to facilitate preventive treatment of content.

The methodology used for this activity by the Department of Consumer Affairs is a contest in which students will interact with the specialized monitor, so knowing the risks and precautions in each of the most common accidents in these areas before described.

All students who participate in work sessions will be presented with a diploma certifying him as a participant in the campaign, a gift for each participant and a paper commitment to preventing childhood accidents.

The competition involved students separated into three teams (Team "home" team, "school" and team "street") and consist of two parts.

The first part

(Modules accidents in home and school) is developed in the classroom of students, where they will be separated into three teams.

In this section of the talk-contest, the monitor makes a short introduction, indicating the environments that run accidents, the leading cause of these and possible prejudices against them.

The second part
