The Councillor for Culture and Celebrations of the City of Lorca, Rosa Medina, has invited all citizens to participate in 31 events organized by the Consistory, to be held for 22 days of December and January.
Medina explained that "most of the activities take place between Dec. 16 and Jan. 10, with performances almost every day, with the aim of increasing the participation of families."
The Councillor for Culture said among the new features this year, two children's film screenings, which help to increase activities for children.
Another new highlight is the Royal Postman will be present for seven days in the Plaza Colon, slide and Alameda Street to the Constitution so that children can send their letters to Their Majesties the Kings Men.
Rosa Medina has also announced that for the first time crews Contest will be held in the Barrio de La Viña, initiating a change that makes this event each year traveling in a neighborhood or hamlet in the township.

Rosa Medina explained that this year has released 2,000 programs with a calendar with pictures of the city, including all holidays, including Lorca.
