Lucy Bell, Ana Maria Cano and Domingo Zamora, 8, 12 and 13 years, won the competition for local schoolchildren "The three best words for prevention" (24/03/2009)

Consumer Council Member, Antonia Lopez, handed the prizes to the best proposals selected from 9,027 contestants, and the diplomas to the 34 schools participating municipality in the "I warn you ..." which was developed in collaboration with the Community.

Consumer Councilmember of the City of Lorca, Antonia Lopez, has delivered this morning on a bicycle with prevention equipment (helmet and reflective vest) to the three winners of "The three best words for prevention", framed in the municipal campaign, "I warn you ...", whose aim has been to provide students with the participating study centers all information concerning the prevention of child accidents in domestic use, school and in public.

One of the winners, Bellido Lucia Marin, a student of 8 years of San Fernando College, proposed as a significant phrase "look at all traffic signals there from my house to school."

Another winner is Ana Maria Cano, a student of 12 years of CEIP Andrés García Soler, the proposal refers to "The bottles of cleaning products are not colored so that children do not touch them."

Finally, Domingo Ruiz Zamora, a student of 13 years of CEIP Pasic, Campillo, who has summarized one of the main ideas of the campaign in the phrase "When we enter and leave the school or class does not have to rush or push and you have wait their turn to come and go. "

Antonia Lopez emphasized in this act, which were also given certificates to the 34 participating centers and plaques to the three winning schools, a large turnout of 3,009 students in years 3, 4, 5 and Primary 6, which have submitted a total of 9,027 proposals phrases, following participation in the 126 training sessions on risk prevention in childhood, 1 hour.

The "I warn all ..." consisted of working sessions in which students were receiving a little talk about the main types of child accidents involved a set of questions and responses to accidents and knowing causes, and signed their commitment as volunteers to prevent such accidents involving children.

All participants in this campaign, funded by the autonomous region, were handed a diploma, pledge card, to prevent accidents, and a pencil.

Consumer Councilmember stressed that all schools have qualified as "very good" this program was based on preventive contents for the detection of child accidents in the Study Centre, Public Road and Home.

Even, at the request of schools, there were five sessions with students of Children, 1 and 2 Primary, which initially were not the target audience of the program.
