The Governing Council has approved an agreement with the Campus Consortium Lorca on the free transfers to the Autonomous Community the use of a building in which the center will be based Integrated Training, where courses are taught related to health.
The center will be located in a building owned by the consortium, with an area of 4,015 meters square, situated at Pelegrín Antonio Medina, within the premises of the former artillery barracks of Lorca, in the district of San Cristobal.
The building will house nine classrooms, three laboratories, library, auditorium, staff room and eleven offices for administration, business and educational departments.
In the center will offer four training courses, two of whom were held in San Juan Bosco Secondary School in the township (Care Nursing Assistants and Laboratory of Clinical Diagnostics), which will be added as new for next year, the average cycle Health Emergencies and the higher degree of health documentation.
This center, along with that of Cartagena will be the first to be launched in the 2009-2010 school year, and will form part of a regional public network Integrated Centers.
Through this agreement, the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment undertakes to bear the full costs of operation and maintenance of the property and financial management and academic lessons.
