Lorca today welcomes two courses of the Universidad del Mar, on enhancement of the archaeological and early intervention (20/07/2009)

Lorca is from today until Friday hosted two courses at the Universidad Internacional del Mar, in hosting the Municipal Archaeological Museum the first year of "territorial management of archaeological, cultural sites, archaeological sites and large sets musealized" and the Cultural Center City on the traditional and early treatment of children with disabilities or social risk from 0 to 6 years.

The Councillor for Education and the City University of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, inaugurated this morning the course of archaeological heritage, which will be a review of several examples of musealization of deposits, including archaeological sites like Segóbriga, Las Minas Gavà or the gestation of which is planned in the winch Cartagena.

Peñarrubia stressed that "in this way, we want to link more Lorca in heritage restoration projects, where the mayor announced as an archaeological park is conditioned on the castle."

For its part, the other course will focus on the development of early intervention, intervention and interdisciplinary conceptual framework .

Professors from the universities of Brasilia (Brazil) and Ramón Llull Blanquerna and professionals of the Hospital Vall d'Hebron in Barcelona and the Centre for Early Childhood Development and Care "Fina Navarro Lopez" Lorca Town Hall are some of the speakers this seminar.

This year Lorca will host the University of Mar from day 21 until 25 September with the usual and tax training seminar, which this year will put their analysis of harmful competition and tax planning promotion.

The enrollment this year will cost 95 euros each registration.

Up to 240 total students may attend these courses.

Peñarrubia has highlighted the quality of the speakers, among them the presence of Judge Pascual Constitutional Court Chambers and professors from various universities around the country.

In addition, they have organized several visits to the cultural heritage of the city.

The Councillor for Education has also emphasized the close cooperation between the city and two universities in the region to move forward with the reality of a Lorca Ciudad Universitaria.
