The secretary general of the PSOE in Lorca, Diego Ferra, announced today that the Socialist Municipal Group shall present a motion Monday that asked that the City of Lorca take appropriate measures to solve the urban problems that prevent planning permission granted in the land located in the so-called "rural centers" of the municipality.
Ferra PGOM recalled that the figure of Lorca delimited urban neighbors to provide owners of these areas, housing construction, while being consolidated and ordered the concentrations that had been occurring over time.
From PGOM final approval in 2003, a significant number of residents of these villages, have been seeking information from the Planning Department of the Hon.
Lorca City Council to build on them.
By technicians from the Planning Department said they were unable to grant building permits in those areas, although there is specific legislation for this in that Plan.
No clutch, the City Council considers these areas as urban and, thus, the receipts of Property Tax (IBI), owners are charged as if the same could be built based on the new regulations.
Ferra described this situation as "unfair" because it is assuming a high economic cost to those affected, on the other hand, can not access the planning permission which includes the PGOM
Therefore, the Socialist Municipal Group also asked that pending resolution of the problem, the PP government team to proceed to the cancellation of property tax receipts for those affected.
