The Municipal Organization of Local Agenda 21 will improve environmental management in promoting public participation Lorca (24/07/2009)

But, as pointed out by Councilman Environment, "their own Local Agenda 21 requires the necessary creation of a permanent representative bodies, in order to manage and generate all the work connected with the LA21, which render the municipal channel to all initiatives of the players involved in the process, authorities, citizens, businesses, organizations and groups. "

Thus, in the Municipal Organization will create three bodies that will manage environmental policies throughout the municipality in which part of economic and social.

First, establish the Permanent Bureau of Local Agenda 21 (OPAL), which is conceived, as noted by Morales as "a space to the public (visiting hours, and e-mail, telephone, etc..) channeling of citizen participation in the strategic project of LA21, institutional relations and technical development of the process of Local Agenda 21, providing information and training as a center for documentation and organization of workshops and Monitoring Municipal Environmental. "

Secondly, it will be the City Commission of the Local Agenda 21, as Francisco Garcia, "is the municipal administrative bodies competent in management, information and referral for all actions and initiatives of LA21, also in charge of advising" and guide environmental policy in the town of Lorca. "

Finally, Garcia reportedly will also implement the City Council on the Environment and Sustainability, "which will query functions, information and proposal" and will be chaired by the mayor and council composed of all political groups, technical City Council, representatives of economic and social actors in the township (neighborhood associations, unions, NGOs, environmental associations) and representatives of the Municipal School Board or the Federation of Associations of Women.

Similarly, will proceed to the creation of sectoral panels and working groups for correction and approval of the Environmental Assessment of Lorca and the Local Action Plan LA21, working in various management areas.
