The top ten City Council districts sports facilities, including the PIMUN thanks to an agreement with the Autonomous Community (05/08/2009)

Councilman Sports City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, has announced that in the last quarter of 2009 the Consistory lorquino undertake the reform and improvement of ten sports for many other districts, which fall within the Investment Plan of the City Sun (PIMUN), thanks to an agreement with the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Community.

Montiel explained that the agreement amounts to 100,000 euros and are already prepared projects for the execution of works amounting to some 91,400.

The districts that will benefit most from these actions are those of Morata, Ramonet, La Tova (Parish), Marchena, La Paca, almond Zarcilla Cazalla and Palm.

Specifically, repair the sports courts of Puerto Muriel Unitarian College in Morata and the Public School in Las Librilleras Ramonete, thanks to a joint project worth EUR 5504.2.

The first improve the facilities including the placement of anchor plates for goals, while the second fix the fence.

17,980 Euro for the settlement of public school sports courts in the parish, after which there will be a comprehensive settlement with a new sign to be painted on the fields for different sports.

For its part, the track of the Public School Narciso Yepes de Marchena receive an investment of 16,899.33 for comprehensive settlement, which also proceed to the perimeter fence by installing wire mesh and painted the track.

The Sports Council will also arrange fully the sports of the Colegio de La Paca, almonds Old College and the new of the same population, with a total investment of EUR 32,886.46.

In the same line will be installed in the final lighting paddle Los Jopos, amounting to 12,000 euros, while lighting installed in the Indoor Palm Zarcilla worth 4,000 euros.

Finally, Cazalla neighbors will benefit from the settlement of sports courts Neighborhood Association, which has a cost of 2,432 euros.

Francisco Montiel said "these projects will be an overhaul of a significant number of sports facilities in our town, thus enabling the students and the general public of these districts have a right equipment to motivate them to perform sporting activities. "
