Note from PSOE:
The Municipal Group Socialist deputy spokesman, Francisco Ruiz Alviar, denounced the "serious" breach of the agreements adopted at Full Council aimed at providing security and accessibility to the streets of downtown affected by the works of Plan E.
Ruiz demanded Alviar PP mayor, Francisco Jodar personally assume the management of the problem, which affects pedestrians and traders, to the "lack of capacity" of the council involved.
He said that the traffic chaos caused by the traffic court, simultaneously in seven streets, access must be added "almost impossible" to dozens of homes and businesses and the very significant deficiencies in safety standards for pedestrians.
In this regard, the Socialist councilor confirmed that there have been several crashes, and many pedestrians walking between bulldozers and other heavy machinery "without any protection."
The mayor lamented that the PP government team did not respect "not one" of the agreements which committed to the initiative of the PSOE and were intended to "minimize the inconvenience and contingencies arising from the works that affect daily Lorca-to-day. "
He said that the fences are invading the area for pedestrians and having elements "sharp and pointed" to make "very dangerous."
He also said that the cross sections that connect the streets are "an embarrassment" and are "unworkable" and that some neighbors have to pass through a field of trenches up to two meters "to enter your home.
He also said that his group is receiving numerous complaints from merchants in the area outraged by the situation, "that the government team Jódar Francisco is not giving any solution."
The Socialist councilor expressed concern that the problem is accentuated with the start of the school year and, therefore, required the mayor to take 'action on the matter "so" immediately. "
