The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, through the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, is a total of EUR 1,369,711 to finance the construction of the Youth of Lorca, a facility that will house the information and advice service 'Informajoven ', and the headquarters of the municipality youth associations and the Local Youth Council of Lorca.
In addition, the new center will have an auditorium, exhibition hall and rehearsal rooms.
The Minister of Culture, Pedro Alberto Cruz, who signed the agreement today with the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, said that "the center will allow the integration of youth in the social dynamics of the municipality and also serve as a meeting young people Lorca. "
Future Youth Space will be located on a plot of 700 square meters in the Marin Trail, which will construct a modern building with a structure consisting of layered volumes of glass and concrete blocks of 1,200 square meters in total, divided into four floors and a basement.
These centers offer a space to alternative uses and versatile, providing young people with the necessary tools, high quality and easily accessible to most youth, to enable them to develop artistic, creative, training, knowledge sharing and experiences and show their work to the rest of the population.
The new infrastructure will also include a multipurpose room, cafeteria, hotel for groups, study hall and computer room.
Lorca Youth Space will be operational by mid 2011.
