The Councillor for Education and University, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, has reported that "Lorca is a college town and adapted to the European Higher thank the National University Extension Distance Education Degrees taught this course in Social Education and Psychology ".
These new degrees will join Degrees in Law and Psychology, together with the Diploma in Business Studies had already been offering in Sun City, UNED.
Peñarrubia stressed that the registration period for the 2009/10 academic year is open until 31 October, which has encouraged Lorca to take this opportunity of university education.
Alderman has also emphasized that this coming academic year introduces the novelty of the Access Course for over 45 years, which is aimed at those over age 45 who do not have any academic qualifications to enable them to enter university or can demonstrate work experience or training.
