The Socialist Party calls for Jódar that "resarza" the forward movement of the cuts he has practiced in 2009 (17/11/2009)

The Socialist Councillor Isabel Casalduero quantified at around 200,000 euros the release that the council must do to restore "normalcy" in the functioning of associations.

A number "small" next to the 26 million that the municipality will receive two years of Socialist government of Spain.

The Socialist Councillor Isabel Casalduero today asked the mayor of PP resarza Francisco Jódar that the forward movement "of all kinds" of imbalances that have occurred in 2009 by the decision of the current government team to cut more than a 20% grants to these groups promote their activities.

Casalduero explained that the second Plan E, which will involve investment in Lorca other 9.8 million euros, will allow 20% of that amount, about two million euros will be spent on current expenditure on Education and Social Services especially those related to the Dependency Act.

This will involve the release of funds by the City towards the year 2010.

Therefore, Casalduero proposed "constructively" that the municipality take the opportunity to make the forward movement of the "dramatic" loss of purchasing power who have suffered this year.

The mayor asked that it be included within the Holy Week brotherhoods "that have been particularly badly to keep the spectacular and uniqueness of the greatest hallmark of our culture."

Quantified the Socialist councilor "at around 200,000 euros," the release that the council must do to restore "normalcy" in the functioning of associations.

A number "small" next to the 26 million that the municipality will receive two years of Socialist government of Spain.

Moreover, Calsalduero also regretted that in the month of November, the PP government team still has not paid many of the grants to associations for 2009.

That is creating "serious problems" with these groups which, in some cases, "are putting money in their pockets to pay for their activities."

It so happens that some associations have not yet claimed the payments linked to past carnivals.
