About thirty women's groups presented their work at the Second Meeting of Women of Lorca, organized by the Federation of women's organizations in the municipality, which has now been opened by the director of the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, Teresa Moreno at the fairgrounds in Santa Quiteria.
During today and tomorrow, the 27 participating associations will exhibit their works and crafts, painting, roll, costumes, ceramics and painted glass, while workshops are held equal, lectures, theater performances, dance and poetry.
For its part, the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration through the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, participates with a stand that sets out the resources and services to meet the demands of training and information for women in labor material, such as local employment centers and the regional network of business incubators for women.
The director of the Institute for Women, Teresa Moreno, emphasized the importance of such events in which "shows the whole of society the work of women's organizations, thus the motivation and involvement of other social and collective ".
With this event, the Federation of women's organizations Lorca attempts to open a space from which to promote cooperation and participation in the activities of the associations of women in the municipality.
