Leoncio Collado socialist councilor regretted that the Minister of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, Pedro Alberto Cruz, has consummated yesterday the dismissal of the first four employees of Lorca Taller del Tiempo, after only two days ago were made public its intention to reduce 35% of the staff of the consortium during this period.
Among those who have lost their jobs so far is the coordinator of tourism and cultural del Castillo.
The PSOE have shown their solidarity with the fired workers and recalled that during the time they have developed their work for the tourism industry of the municipality "have been an example of dedication and professionalism."
Collado has been visibly upset by the attitude permanently "submissive and docile, the mayor of the PP, Francisco Jódar against the excesses of his colleagues in the regional government.
The PSOE mayor lamented that Jódar is incapable of giving a fist on the table and defend the interests of Lorca "above all and before anyone else."
