Socialist Parliamentary Group of the Regional Assembly has submitted a motion today asking the regional government to include in the planning of the network of the Region of Murcia in 2010, the construction of a building for the parish school lorquina of Directors.
The initiative, which will be defended by the socialist deputy Jesus Lopez, also requires that, "immediately" be enabled portable classrooms for the school's college counselor can restart the school year.

Lopez recalled that the deteriorating state of the college of Directors has been denounced by the educational community center and other organizations, among which is the Socialist Parliamentary Group.
According to the regional deputy, the "inaction" of educational administration in its responsibility to build or renovate public schools has resulted in the case of the College of the Director, the collapse of the roof of the computer room, which fortunately has not caused injury but has left parents, teachers and the school management in a deep concern for the safety of schoolchildren who trained the center daily.
For the Socialist parliamentary group can not be equality of opportunity among citizens in relation to public education services as there are no minimum standards of habitability and conditions for teaching in any of the schools in the region supported by public funds.
In that sense, Lopez demanded that the districts, provincial and public entities "have a decent standard of schooling by law and by the need to maintain the demographic occupation of rural land in our region."
