Pregon Easter - Lorca 2010 (18/03/2010)

Lorca's Vicar and Parish Priest of San Mateo, thank you very much for your generous hospitality.

His Excellency Mayor of Lorca and Town Crier of Holy Week of 2009.

Dear Presidents of the Confraternity and Guilds Lorca.

Dear young people who are in this act and who are the future of Lorca and its Processions

Dear Friends Dear Family ---- --- Ladies and gentlemen

All present in this beautiful Church of San Mateo of great memories for me because I came here to mass of small, because my grandparents lived just across the street.

It is also true that many times on vacation, I was angry because the bells woke me very early, as if I had to go to school.

My first words must be to express my deep gratitude to His Excellency the Mayor of Lorca and the Chairmen of the brotherhoods Lorca, who have honored me, very much pleased and excited with this appointment of Town Crier

The Mayor's thanks must be double and that in making my presentation has been extremely gracious and generous about me.

I appreciate the presence of my cousin Jose Maria Sanz-Pastor Mingot, son of my dear aunt Ana Maria Mingot Millana, widow of my uncle Javier Sanz-Pastor of the people I most wanted in my life.

My Aunt Mary Ann was a waitress most of White step no more, no less than from 1,970 to 1.

995.

Obviously my namesake is the White Pass.

Before starting the Proclamation, I call all my heart to benevolence and understanding of everyone here

Since many times my words reflect my emotions, especially when opening the trunk of my memories.

Friends all, be kind to my cry.

With this proclamation, I will not bother anyone and if someone is upset or hurt, I apologize now.

When my good friend Christopher Alcolea told me by telephone, on behalf of President of the Paso Blue, Jose Antonio Ruiz Sanchez, if he agreed to be Pregonero of this Holy Week, the excitement began to mourn me remembering my mother, my aunt

Emilia and my grandfather Víctor Pérez Mellado de Meca, Conde de San Julián.

Sadly already dead and buried in my family vault, located at the Virgen de las Huertas.

They were the ones since I was little I was taught to love both Lorca and be passionate about our processions.

In which when I am, I increases blood pressure because of the huge emotional burden they have for me.

Thus before the end of my conversation with Christopher, I said, tonight I put the raincoat to sleep because I'm sure all my maternal ancestors, both blue and white, they will drool with joy and cold does in Madrid, I'm exposed to grab pneumonia.

It is also true that when I reach that this year would Crier asked my acceptance, I had a brief moment

I'm not quite sure you know reciprocate.

Again I reiterate that I am extremely pleased and proud because I have been accorded the honor of being Town Crier

Although not born in Lorca, but in Granada, where my father was for forestry engineer, my mother taught me from very small to be a devoted love Lorca.

Obviously also be a great admirer of its Processions

Thus many of my best memories of my childhood and my adolescence are based on these days we'll celebrate

I've always been, since very little bluer than the sky of Lorca or Tanzania, where I spent almost six years in Rwanda where the sad and cruel memories I have.

Now, let me talk a little about my memories of Lorca processions when I was young and my maternal ancestors.

MY MATERNAL ANCESTORS

1

Juan Pérez de Meca, who, born in Aragon, came to Lorca in September 1380 after participating actively in the recapture and escape from the Arabs.

2

As you know better than me, this composition has become over time the

HIMNO DEL PUEBLO HEBREO .

3

) My ancestor

He was President

del Paso Blanco .

Proclaim December 31, 1900 the following ordinance

it was he who

“

concession to the president of the White and Blue Step

cantidad de 2.000 pesetas

".

Since then and due to his initiative, the City Council has supported our processions Lorca.

My best memories are from when they came on horseback in processions

Every time I came out in processions in Lorca has been riding along with my good friend from childhood, Pepe Rodriguez de Vera Cacha, accompanied by his rider Fernando Mondejar

We went long in the

TRIUNFO DEL CRISTIANISMO

(Paso Azul).

Which of course never forget the fright I had the first time I went, with 11 years.

It was in the slide and just get to where he was the President, gave a strong pull on the reins to stop the horse, this is me get out of hand, gave me a whack on the nose and knocked me down no miracle.

Everyone cheered me a lot, both white, and blue.

My grandfather Victor when I get home I said I was a very brave guy and gave me a bike.

Obviously I did not tell her street and not him, or anyone, the fear was over, my nose very sore and I had not lifted the horse, but he did the solo.

PRIMOR HANDS OF Lorquin

Lorca is color

our art embroidery

Proof of this is that in 1929, the American Exhibition in Seville, the Queen told her husband, King Alfonso XII Alfonso see no wonder. "

The King said "absolutely stunning."

I did not know this story, I found out when UCD was the Governor of Sevilla and I was once again very proud of our machines.

Lorca embroideries have always been the best ambassadors of doing Lorca, national and international exhibitions.

My deepest thanks and tribute to all those women of our land lorquina to leave the light in her eyes in the light of his wonderful works and

die.

It's a feeling I have inside my soul and that I externalized in resounding cheers and applause and also lump in the throat and tears in his eyes to remember my beloved mother.

The protagonist of our processions is the town of Lorca

and subject the most exalted mood, crosses again with his Virgin avenues of the soul in a way true to the Resurrection.

Processions Lorca is the exaltation of a people.

Rivalries do not always annihilate desires, but also stimulates them.

The deep love for our people to our virgins, our past, our parents and grandparents, the future that Lorca is yesterday and today.

The people excited, making it irresistible to burn in a show that makes you laugh, mourn, shudder and delirious cheering their flags and prayers to their virgins.

We all participate.

To our forests and orchards vibrate, they are also witnesses who see and are silent.

Is immeasurable passion, excitement, enthusiasm that invades and flooded the town of Lorca in Holy Week.

Feeling Lorca is to be faithful, every year, this commitment

Passionate BIBLE SHOWS

Our parades are a true Biblical Passional living reality, unique, full of splendor and mystery

The Bible Lorca Parades feel passionate as part of our life we are not spectators, but actors of Sacred History, which has to be done this, you have to make it possible.

In the Bible shows passion, the people Lorca expresses clearly what moves the heart and history.

Nor leave behind the various mythologies of cultures around the chosen people:

In our processions parading the World (Egypt, Rome, Ethiopia, Judea etc.).

THE VIRGIN MARY

soul feel that our faith is strengthened.

Lorca town worships you and you pray your way.

In our processions come to adore you, Lady and mother, refuge of sinners.

You are the light of God and heavenly patron.

Lorca all love you and soul repeated contention

“ como tu no hay otra igual “.
