Spectacular hiking trail in the Sierra de la Almenara under the "Lorca Foot 2010" (12/04/2010)

On the morning of Sunday saw the third route of the "Lorca Foot 2010", organized by the Municipal Sports and Games in collaboration with the Club Senderista of Lorca's Carrasca within the area of activities in the natural environment, developing the same by the Sierra de la Almenara, particularly in the Talayón on a circular loop of 13 miles.

A total of 110 walkers, with the start and end in the Hospedería del Fraile, highlighting the beauty of the landscape and the spectacular views from the path to the top of Talayón.

The route ran along the Rambla de las Plazas, Ugéjar Ravine, Ravine in Malls, Sites Cano House and Casa de Madera.

Screening and panel discussion on Friday in Mecca under the title Arcas "Jbel Saghro, the land of thirst"

Also included in the "Lorca Walking Program 2010", but within the cultural area, on Friday April 16, is hosting a screening and panel discussion, entitled: "Jbel Saghro, the land of thirst", with speakers mountaineers Lorca (Pedro Fernandez, Juan Antonio Molina and Christopher Smith), who narrates his latest adventure in the Dades Valley and the rock mass located between the Atlas and the Moroccan desert.

The talk will be held in the auditorium of the IES Ramón Arcas Meca from 20:30 h.

Furthermore, within the area of Activities in the Natural Environment, on Saturday April 17, will take place in mountain bike route to Caravaca de la Cruz of the "Bicycle and nature."
